Tall structures have always fascinated mankind. There were buildings stretching well over 100 meters into the sky even before industrialization. But how has the history of the tallest buildings in the world developed? Which structures have played a role in this history?
Despite its already high level of development, change continues to occur in Mandaluyong as evidenced by its ever-evolving skyline. As much as an area’s landscape changes due to urbanization, so too does its skyline. It is important that we trace the history of these tall buildings to understand the city and how it affects the lives of the people.
